You really need to get your website sorted, right?
But if you’ve been re-doing it for so long you’re starting to wonder if you’ll ever actually finish it 😩
Or, if the prospect of redoing it is just so painful you’re putting it off entirely…
Then this can help you get it done…
How long have you been putting off doing, or re-doing, your website?
Go on, be honest.
(Absolutely no judgement here, I didn’t even have a website for FOUR YEARS and I make the blimmin things for a living 🙈)
On the surface, it feels as though it shouldn’t be that difficult doesn’t it?
A home page, an about page, a way to explain or sell your services, maybe a blog, tell people how to get in touch…
Simple, right?
Except, it feels like there are a thousand decisions to make for Every. Single. Element.
No wonder we feel so overwhelmed.
And get so stuck.
We know we need to get things right. Or it won’t work properly.
Plus, no one wants their website to end up looking like this do they.
So how do you stop going round in circles trying to figure out what to say, where to put everything, and whether you do actually need a designer or if you could just use a template?
You need a plan.
And a way of moving through all of the decisions with ease and confidence.
That’s where I come in.
Hi, I’m Amy.
*waves enthusiastically*
I’m on a mission to help extraordinary organisations reach more people and make more of a difference in the world.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working with a kaleidoscope of organisations – including local government, two High Street banks, Cambodian and Costa Rican NGOs, housebuilders and financial advisors, exciting startups, groundbreaking charities and the NHS.
I’ve planned, written and built websites for most of them.
And I want to let you in on a secret…
Doing your website doesn’t have to be awful.
See, I think we come at websites arse about tit (or backwards for any non-brits).
And that the tech and the design aren’t the most important things.
(*cue horrified gasps from website designers all around the internet*)
In the past 15 years, I’ve planned, written and built over a hundred websites.
I’ve found, if you do things in the right order, then it’s waaaay less painful and so much easier.
My clients LOVE it.
And I share that exact process with you in this workshop.
See, they really do love it 💛
Let’s get rid of the overwhelm and the decision fatigue.
You’ll know exactly what you’re doing, and feel confident that you’re making the right decisions.
At the end of it, you will be able to pull together a website that …
- magnetically draws in your favourite types of customers
- puts off the types of customers you’d rather not have to deal with (you know, the ones who want to micro-manage you or squeeze you on price because their mate/third-cousin/neighbour could do it for half the price)
- helps you make more money
- you’re super proud to show off to anyone and everyone you can.
What you get…
A 2 hour workshop
No-fluff, super-actionable. I walk you through the exact steps I use to plan, write and publish a website.
An easy-to-use spreadsheet
Packed with everything you need to map out your website structure and content.
A handy checklist
Of all the steps you need to follow as you create or coordinate your own website project.
Journal prompts and writing guide
To help you get your messaging and copy right.
Questions…
Is this right for me?
The process is incredibly helpful whether you’re going to be doing everything yourself, or you’re going to be coordinating a team of people to get it done.
If you’re not sure though, please send me an email ([email protected]) and I’ll be happy to chat through whether it’s right for you and your business.
Will it work if I sell products?
It will be massively helpful with planning the customer journey and writing your main pages.
But…
We’re not going to be covering e-commerce systems, how to organise your products/structure your online shop, or writing product descriptions or long sales pages.
Do you cover tech and visual design?
Only very briefly. Build is the last thing you do, we cover everything up to that stage.
But, I will show you how to make decisions about tech and design and not get stuck on them forever.
You’ll know exactly what sort of tech you need and be able to choose design elements much more easily.
OR you’ll have everything you need to hand over to someone else to do it for you AND make sure you get what you need rather than having to go back and forth five hundred times.
What does it cost in my local currency?
At the time of writing (November 2021) £80 is around:
95 Euros
110 US Dollars
135 Canadian Dollars
145 Australian Dollars
Is this a live training?
No, it’s the recording of a live training.
But, if you’re still really stuck on something, you’re welcome to shoot me a question on the details right below 👇🏼
